A Quick and Simple tasty cabbage recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 large head of cabbage – chopped
  • 1 pack Kielbasa sausage (approx 12 oz) thinly sliced
  • 1  White or yellow onion – diced
  • 1/2 Stick of butter
  • 3 Garlic cloves – minced
  • Salt to taste (Himalayan salt)
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 TBSP apple cider vinegar
  • 1 TBSP organic gluten free soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground red pepper
  • 4 Strips of cooked uncured hormone free bacon
Directions:
  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat
  2. Add onions garlic cook until translucent
  3. Add vinegar and kielbasa cook until browned
  4. Add chopped cabbage, spices and cook until wilted; slightly browned
  5. Crumble cooked bacon over cabbage
  6. Serve and enjoy!
Cooking Notes: Fry 4 strips of bacon first and set aside, use bacon grease instead of butter.
